Actor-director Upendra's highly anticipated directorial project of the year, UI, is scheduled to be released in October in multiple languages, according to the film's creators. This marks Upendra's return to directing after Uppi 2. Starring Reeshma Nanaiah as the female lead, the film is being produced by G Manoharan and KP Srikanth. Upendra expressed his excitement about the upcoming release, stating, "I am eagerly anticipating the audience's reaction to the film as it deviates from the traditional cinematic formula. We have incorporated advanced VFX and focused on delivering impactful content with each scene carrying symbolic meaning. Our goal is to captivate and challenge viewers throughout the entire film." The VFX work is currently in its final stages and is set to create an immersive UI universe that is being developed in Bengaluru and Vancouver. Additionally, the background score composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath in Budapest is expected to elevate the film further. With the film's release scheduled during the festive season in October, the team aims to provide audiences with an exceptional cinematic experience.
